About me
My name is Michael and I am a full time computer-science student at the University of California at Santa Barbara. This blog is here to serve as an outlet.
I am a software engineer at a small start up company in beautiful down town Santa Barbara, California, USA. For the past couple of months we have been developing a large scale Ruby on Rails web application that will provide a much needed service. It's a start up-- I can only say so much! But we build really cool things
Feel free to post any form of feedback, as it is important to me. If you have a better solution to a problem than please let me know (otherwise how am I going to learn that my problem solving skills lack?). And, by all means, if you encounter a problem in any of the areas of my work (whether it be Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, etc...) e-mail me and I will create a post about it and we can work it out.

Below is a list of languages/technology that I currently am focused in. There is no method to the ordering and most technologies are used in parallel.

For reference here is a complete list of the languages/frameworks/technologies I have touched upon and have at least basic understanding in: C/C++, Java, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Subversion, CSS, HTML, MySQL, PHP (4/5), ASP, ASP.NET, VB Script, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Mac OS X, Windows XP/Vista, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and a flurry of IDE's corresponding to the previously mentioned items.
